Moviehole reports that the Australian-born actor is shooting a superhero romantic comedy in Sydney, Australia which is titled "Griff the Invisible."
Writer and director Leon Ford spoke to Moviehole, Ford described "Griff" as a cross between the superhero and comedy genres with a central romantic subplot focusing on "Two very unique individuals finding each other and giving the other the strength to be what they want to be."
Kwanten said, "By day, Griff works in a normal 9 to 5 office, by night, he is a superhero or is he?". Kwanten also said, "Every boy dreams of being a superhero and I've accepted my mission to bring this one to life," he added.
Griff the Invisible is the debut feature film for Leon Ford and other co-starring actors in the film are Maeve Dermody (“Beautiful Kate”), Patrick Brammall, and Toby Schmitz.
The superhero film is being produced by Nicole O’Donohue and executive producers are Jan Chapman (‘’The Piano’’) and Scott Meek (“Velvet Goldmine”).
