Moviehole reports that the Australian-born actor is shooting a superhero romantic comedy in Sydney, Australia which is titled "Griff the Invisible."

Writer and director Leon Ford spoke to Moviehole, Ford described "Griff" as a cross between the superhero and comedy genres with a central romantic subplot focusing on "Two very unique individuals finding each other and giving the other the strength to be what they want to be."

Kwanten said, "By day, Griff works in a normal 9 to 5 office, by night, he is a superhero or is he?". Kwanten also said, "Every boy dreams of being a superhero and I've accepted my mission to bring this one to life," he added.

Griff the Invisible is the debut feature film for Leon Ford and other co-starring actors in the film are Maeve Dermody (“Beautiful Kate”), Patrick Brammall, and Toby Schmitz.

The superhero film is being produced by Nicole O’Donohue and executive producers are Jan Chapman (‘’The Piano’’) and Scott Meek (“Velvet Goldmine”).

LEEE777 - Great stuff, but I hope he's thinking Wally West for DC Entertainment too, because I sure am! ; )

GUN @ No he wouldn't, he'd just be playing a more or less same superhero character with different powers!!!

If CHRIS did get a DC HERO, id want it totally different than the HUMAN TORCH dude! Plus by the time we ever get to a WALLY WEST FLASH he'd be well too old by then anyway.

@LEEE-

DUDE!!! Good call, bro!!! SEAN WILLIAM SCOTT would make a killer BOOSTER GOLD!!! That is right on the money!!!

I actually think "THE FLASH" when I see KWANTEN, but I do like CHRIS EVANS better for the part, regardless of the similarities between THE HUMAN TORCH & FLASH. He's just got the perfect comedic timing, build, and look. With so many things perfect, i can overloook the fact that he played a similar character.........plus, if it's true to the source, he should have a mask on 75% of the time.
Ryden

Talontd @ ; ) on BOOSTER GOLD but Evans i dont see it, he's gonna be too old dude once we finally see WALLY on the big screen, if we ever do. Thats mainly the reason, still if they made a FLASH in the next 5 years with WALLY maybe.

Billy @ I agree, no for CAP lol!
