Truth in earning with CBM advertising

Truth in earning with CBM advertising

I started contributing articles in CBM because of my passion for Superhero movies. I'll go out and say that in the city where I am I'll be the biggest comicbook geek. Earning here was just an icing on the cake, and I didn't gave it really that much thought, imagine my surprise when I receive my first payment from Google Adsense. Though I have to admit that it is not all from CBM, but CBM is a contributing factor.

Finally I received my first payment from Google Adsense.

First thing I went out to do I bought a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DVD. *a chorus of what the...*

Yup, I know Transformers:ROTF is not one of the best movies out there, but I just recently read the 20 commandments of nerds, and well I had the first Transformers movie in DVD so I better have the sequel as well. I won't be a bona fide geek if I didn't do so. :)
I earned this money from writing about these kind of movies so I think I deserve to buy a DVD of it.

Honestly it was not my first choice, I was really looking for a G.I.Joe; Rise of the Cobra DVD. *a bigger WHAT THE...*
Calm down people calm down. I'm a child of the 80s and these were my shows. I'm just glad that the cartoons I've been watching as a kid, has evolved into this kind of movies. I know some of you may hate these movies, but the kid in me is just roaring with excitement. So, pardon me... but to each his own.

Well I'm just glad that my passion (translate inward geekiness) allows me to make a profit out of this thru adsense. It's just really fun, writing. reading and exchanging ideas about Superheroes, Hi-Tech Soldiers, and Giant Robots and then earning from them.

I'm hoping this is not the last time because the DVD for those blue feline-humanoid Nav'i from Pandora is next in line (AVATAR i'm looking at you, allow me to add more to your success as the King of the WORLD and other WORLDS).

-ACCESS out. Godspeed and MABUHAY!

Access- I have my own add-code from Adsense but i can't for the life of me figure out how to use it. Can you tell me how? Or where to put it? And which add type to use on this site? Cause when i fill out my adsense account, they ask me stuff about banner adds and what not, i have no clue what they are or which one i can actually use on here.

Shaman-go to your editor tools and click on advertising. It tells you what size banner adds you can use on CBM. Its pretty similar to submitting an article. Click on all the ? to get more info.

Dogs- Thanks bud. I went there and uploaded all my adds but i can't see them at all on my fansite. The spaces are empty. How can i make them appear there. Every add was put in the "advertising" section yet none of them show up on any page.

Access- I don't even see your Adsense adds on this page. Your header, skyscraper and box is empty???

Shaman-you probably have adblock (or something like it) on your web browser. It should be a red stop sign looking thing on your toolbar (ok, zip up your pants and look at your computer screen). You can disable it for certain pages or turn it on and off. The ads are there, you just can't see em. Other people viewing your page can see them, unless they also have adblock.
