Over the years I have been a fascinated reader and follower of comics that I always felt had a unique and genuine feel, but still very shocking, intriguing, yet VERY colorful.
Some of the many comics I remember growing up we're not your usual Spider-Man, X-Men, or Fantastic Four, no.. I liked to attach myself to things that didn't feel like I was jumping on any kind of bandwagon, I liked things that looked and felt insane yet very easy to understand.
Of this edition of 'Unleashing The Ultimate X' I am about to show you ten comics that I absolutely love since their creations, whither they are still in production, perhaps ended early, maybe they didn't get over well with the rest, or were limited release or even run as a one-shot, or they we're just entirely something different, all adding the same love I always felt for these comics, in no particular order:
DEADPOOL - This one is the one I always thought of as 'the crazy psycho Spider-Man' when I was young the one I used to love was where he went nuts about the naked old people instead of the people who just tried to kill him, and whipped out the swords, it's this moment I always felt that the merc with a mouth was something different from the rest of best!

ICP: THE PENDULUM - This was an interesting and unique comic for one of many reasons, with the excessive gore and music overtones, pretty much on parallel with the gimmick of the Insane Clown Posse themselves, each issue came with the free cd singles, and the plot was complete chaos and pure anarchy at it's finest, well, all that, and as much beheading as medieval England, pretty much sums this comic up!
MANKIND (WWF COMICS) - Mick Foley, one of my icons since I was a kid, in my favorite wrestling gimmick of all time, immortalized even further into that of a comic book mini-series! That sums up about all the millions of thoughts why I truly love this creation, I will be eternally grateful for it having been created, even though of all the WWF comics at the time, the Undertaker had some of my favorite stories and quality, this one was closest to my heart of them all! Have a nice day!!!
HARBINGER - This comic was up in my face everywhere I went, comic shops, Marc's superstore, everywhere I went, a lot of times people tried to give them to me for free!!! I never could understand a true appreciation for this series as much as I do now, but I realize it was the title I was meant to love and born to read! It's pure vintage X-Men style brilliance, and any fans of early incarnations of X-Men, such at the real First Class-era stuff, I know you will love this if you don't know about it!
RALPH SNART ADVENTURES - Another one I picked up by the stack at Marc's as a kid, I will always love these stories and art behind it, I'm shocked, even since I was a young kid, why it never got the recognition it deserved! Dr. Goot was cray-zay! He looked like a Dr. Robotnik clone from Sonic The Hedgehog, but that didn't do any harm to him or anything else, Ralph and his Girlfriend were pretty regular, but at the same time, very out of this world!!!

KISS: PSYCHO CIRCUS - This is arguable with Ghostbusters as my favorite comics franchise! This comic series in particular had a very unique art style that brought the carnival-esque characters to life in a very real sense. Each of the four Kiss members had element counterparts, and earthly circus counterparts. The series also featured story arcs based on legends surrounding some of their infamous songs, and even a tribute story to their late drummer from the 80's, Eric Carr, The Fox. Of all the stories, there was one arc that had people talking the most, which was "Destroyer", a grim disaster-piece about armageddon and the album of the same name. It had a legitimate threat to Kiss and the circus, as opposed to the usual plot device in the series of them watching over one person and thundering down a revelation for them by each story's end, a very interesting yet truly chaotic one at that!

THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS - Like I mentioned above, what's to say other then Ghostbusters and Kiss both shaped my youth. It's arguably the one thing I still love today that I did back then when I was 3, and the one comic I still pick up feeling amazed as I did back then when I was a kid! A direct companion to the animated television series, this comic counterpart to the show had everything it's companion did. The only gripe I had growing up was the fact that other kids my age would be featured displaying their entire Ghostbusters figures and toys collection in the back of each issue, which led to a lot of childhood jealousy in that! That is something I did always grow out of rather quick though because I was still always satisfied with my own collections, and the effort my parents made back then to help me get as much of it complete as possible!

UNDERTAKER (WWF Comics) - Undertaker is one of WWE's greatest superstars, achieving legendary status, the most glorious winning streak on the biggest show every year, WrestleMania, and many other accolades, such as being featured on every single WWE video game ever created, it was only fitting that his comic was one of not only the best wrestling comics, but comic book titles in general! It featured team-ups and battles with all the very different characters from his background and origins (on-screen), such as his long time manager Paul Bearer, his (kayfabe) half brother Kane, as well as Kane's own (comic storyline exclusive) half sister Jezebelle, and the comic's other exclusive character, and main antagonist, Augustus aka The Embalmer, who was a druid of the Undertaker that became his apprentice, only to turn against him once achieving rival power, and doing everything it takes for him to become the ruler of 'Stygian', hell's prison..

THE NAIL - Rob Zombie's masterpiece graphic novel/comic series in a limited run, was about "Tyrannosaurus" Rex Hauser. A pro wrestler touring the country performing at small-time arenas until the fateful night he and his family run into a gang of satanic bikers in North Dakota. This entire comic is currently being worked into a feature length motion picture by Zombie himself, aptly titled, Tyrannosaurus Rex, should begin filming early 2011..
and last, but certainly not least.. CAPTAIN GLORY! Captain Glory was a one piece by Jack Kirby during his time working with Topps comics, yes, the trading card company, and it was an incredible comic, and still is! All copies of this awesome first and only issue came packaged with a 'Kirby-chrome' exclusive card with every comic! To me, this will always be a classic comic, and one of the greatest of all time, I wonder how awesome this would be if it ever came to be a Comic Book Movie, I will be the first person on board for that one!!
As a thank you for reading this, here is the bonus of my entire writing here:
My all time favorite choice for the single most significant comic book of all time, the greatest comic of all comics, the dream of a holy grail within the world of comic books and all..
KISS: A Marvel Comics Super Special! (1977)
It's music, It's Superheroes, It's been inked in Blood.
Two great world's collide as the legendary rock band KISS team with Marvel's greatest superheroes in order to stop the Greatest Challenge Ever..
The value of this issue is insane, and the legend behind it, even crazier!
This is a comic that could be spoken with great volumes and meaning, but no words could ever truly do it justice, not will anything else do something quite like it ever again.
It's the greatest.
I hope you all enjoyed my opinion piece here, you may not feel the same way about these as I do, but please, share your choices for the top ten, unleash you own ultimate x!!! I would love to hear your thoughts!!!
