I saw so many people walk away from Batman with a destroyed soul. Christopher Nolan conquered it. The simple fact is that they DID IT.

And now I've seen the true potential of that character. Superheroes aren't my bag, but still great filmmaking.

I think the Dark Knight Rises was the most powerful experience of the year for me. Watched the development hell on the first one.

@Firg lol that's a back up. If I can't make suspense/psychological thrillers in the vein of Memento and Rear Window, there's always erotic movies. :P

Congrats to Nolan, been a fan the moment he brought back Batman to the big screen, Inception was a good film and The Dark Knight ofcourse.
I hope The Dark Knight Rises will be better then I think as it does looks EPIC, just praying it is better then I imagine. I wish Nolan's Batman films continue but I understand why this is his LAST Batman flick.

Again to Nolan congrats he sure hell deserved it.

@Spidey23 All 3 of Raimi's Spider-man films are terrible. Yes, even 2. Any given film Nolan has made is better than EVERY SINGLE FILM Raimi has made. Period. And no, I am not a "Nolanite."

@iZonscifi

Just FYI -- this article is INACCURATE.

Nolan was NOT honored with a Star.... he was honored with the privilege of having his hand- and foot-prints cemented in the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theater.

It's a HUGE difference, and a huge deal. There are literally thousands of C-list celebrities who have "Stars" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; there are only about 250 honorees who have their hand- and foot-prints in front of Grauman's.
