Screening up at the Toronto Film Festival next month

The Butcher, The Chef and The Swordsman is directed by Chinese filmmaker Wu Ershan (who I can't seem to find on IMDb) who studied at the Beijing Institute of Film Studies. The screenplay was written by Zhang Jiajia, Tang Que, Ma Luoshan & Wu Ershan. It's based on the short story "Legend of the Kitchen Knife" by An Changhe. This will be presented by Doug Liman at the Toronto Film Festival next month, where it will be looking for a US distributor.
