GODZILLA VS. KONG Leaked Funko Pop Reveals Our Best Look To Date At [SPOILER]

There have been rumblings this iconic Kaiju might factor into Godzilla vs. Kong for a while now, but it's finally been confirmed thanks to an upcoming Funko Pop figure. Find out more details right here...

It's one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood right now, but a leaked Funko Pop has now confirmed that Godzilla vs. Kong will include Mecha-Godzilla. There were hints this would be the case in the trailer for the movie, but he can be seen here in all his glory, and is seemingly 100% robotic!

It's not the clearest of shots, and is obviously stylised thanks to Funko's unique figure design, but this gives us some idea of what to expect and is our best look at the iconic Kaiju to date.

Many believed Godzilla: King of the Monsters teased plans for Mecha-King Ghidorah, so it's feasible that a robotic Godzilla has also been created, and is terrorising cities across the globe. That could be what leads to Monarch deciding to send Kong after him, only for it to be revealed as the fight continues that this Godzilla is more machine than monster (leading to the real deal returning later on).

Kong might also injure Godzilla enough that he needs cybernetic upgrades, though we're fully anticipating the two monsters teaming up to take on Mecha-King Ghidorah whatever happens.

When you think back to how grounded 2014's Godzilla was, it's bonkers that the franchise is heading down this route, but it should be fun to see what sort of role the robotic Kaiju plays in the blockbuster.

Wow ... So Godzilla and Kong become allies and together they fight this Mecha-Godzilla. It is so obvious...

@Repian - the theory going around is that the Godzilla Kong is fighting in the trailer, the one that is seemingly acting out of character, is actually Mechagodzilla in disguise.

As obvious as every Godzilla movie, yeah.

Big monsters are going to fight humans and/or each other, and/or team up and fight a bigger threat.

That's...always the plot. 🤷

remember how the 2014 Godzilla was somewhat grounded in reality and now we're doing giant robots? not complaining though, it's exactly what happened with the OG Godzilla back in the day, from cautionary nuclear allegory to increasingly silly giant monster wrestling matches.
