So this is a nitpick but it doesn’t make sense for interplanetary species cable of high tech advances at the same rate as humans…

I still find it strange how humans can have different features, deformities, and facial appearances. But any alien in any movie must look 100% identical to one another. It's really weird to me that people don't believe an alien species could have different facial or bodily appearances from one another. I like the fact that each Predator has different features. Makes them each feel unique and not clones of one another.

@SonOfAGif - I agree with this, but also don't like the facial/ head structure of the feral predator very much. It was almost unrecognizable as a predator with the mask off. Big fan of Prey overall, but that was my nitpick.

I like that he has a smaller head, even though the design itself is not my favorite. I always disliked how predators have proportionally huge heads for their bodies.

I appreciated the fact that the position of the eyes made it obvious that it wasn't a straightforward human in prosthetics.

I liked the look they went with a lot. Liked how it used less advanced technology as it was going up against less dangerous prey (in terms of technology). Made sense to me that a race of space hick hunters would try to be more sporting.

@MrDandy - if you think about, I'm sure that advances in Predator hunting technology resulted from this Feral Predator failing/being defeated. The plasma canyon replacing the darts, and losing that defect of going only where the red dots were, would be an obvious advancement they would make over time.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I saw it as less that they didn’t have the technology and more that they simply didn’t want to use it. Think of bow hunting here on earth. Yeah, we have guns we could be using instead but some hunters enjoy the extra challenge.

The new one looks more like an alien who could originate elsewhere, where as the original literally looks like someone in a mask/suit with contact lenses. It's face is TOO human.

The bone mask was a great component. And I loved just how feral this, well, Feral Predator was. As mentioned above, we already know from Predators that there are many different races of Predators out there.

Best Predator design is still the original Jungle Hunter, but this Feral Predator was really good.

Looked fine to me. I just assumed this Predator was spliced with different dna from the others. Either way, the new look looked good.
