Variety have announced that 30 minutes of Tron: Legacy will be shown at the Tokyo International Film Festival on 23rd October. This festival was the same one that footage of James Cameron's Avatar screened at last year and went on to make 189 Million in Japan. Disney are clearly hoping for similar returns. Avatar screened in both 3D and 2D, Tron will screen in 3D only.
If you don't fancy flying to Japan for this, you can wait it out until the December 17th release in the US and UK.
Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheenand is directed by Joseph Kosinski.
