20th Century Fox has released a new Japanese poster for James Gray's upcoming space thriller, Ad Astra, featuring Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt standing front-and-center, gearing up for his next mission.

Walt Disney Studios and 20th Century Fox have released a new Japanese poster for James Gray's upcoming sci-fi space mystery, Ad Astra, featuring a fresh new image of Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as the film's protagonist, Roy McBride, an astronaut who traverses the solar system in a bid to find his long lost father (Tommy Lee Jones).

However, his journey leads him on a path to uncovering the shocking truth behind the failure of his dad's initial mission, which may or may not have involved searching for extraterrestrial life. 


In addition to Pitt and Jones, the cast features, Ruth Negga (Preacher), Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk), Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), John Finn (The Walking Dead), Kimberly Elise (Death Wish), Bobby Nish (ER), LisaGay Hamilton (Vice), and John Ortiz (Bumblebee).


 
Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.

“Apocalypse Now in space” is one hell of a way to sell me on this movie. Not to mention I can tell that they’re really marketing this carefully to not show too much. I’m excited
