Walt Disney Studios and 20th Century Fox have released three very interesting new clips from James Gray's upcoming space epic, Ad Astra, featuring extended looks at the film as Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) and his crew get hunted down by Dominic Toretto and his crew what appear to be space pirates.

While story details remain murky at best, the film's mysterious plot revolves around astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) as he heads into the great beyond in search of his long lost father (Tommy Lee Jones) while simultaneously unraveling his dad's last mission, which could very well threaten the survival of the entire human race.

The film also stars Ruth Negga (Preacher), Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk), Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), John Finn (The Walking Dead), Kimberly Elise (Death Wish), Bobby Nish (ER), LisaGay Hamilton (Vice), and John Ortiz (Bumblebee).
