ALIEN: COVENANT - Check Out The First Red Band Clip And A New "Destroy" TV Spot

The first clip from Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant is now online, and it's not for the weak of heart... or stomach, for that matter. We also have a "Destroy" TV spot which contains some new footage.

20th Century Fox has released the first clip from Alien: Covenant, which is basically a longer version of the chest back-bursting scene that's been glimpsed in most of the previous promos.

We still don't actually see the little blighter erupt from the unfortunate crew-member's insides, but they show just enough to tease what's sure to be a seriously tense and bloody sequence.

Check it out below along with a new TV spot, and let us know if you're looking forward to the latest installment of the Alien saga in the comments.

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2017.
