the next big step is probably to get more apes to talk and for humans to START dieing out..then in the 3rd film have them almost died out and apes around the world are ruling over men

@ Monstalova - good question, but there are possible scenarios. The Apes are currently confined to the US but can easily spread to Mexico and South America while the virus has gone worldwide. There's plenty of scope for mass hysteria in the worlds other superpowers. Who's to say they don't start launching missiles at America in an effort to destroy the Apes. Or maybe just an ill fated attempt to quarantine the Apes by targeting harbours, etc. Or maybe countries turns on each other thinking the virus is a biological weapon of war.

That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure they'll have more competent writers taking more time over it ;-)

@ Dev7 - got to agree! Not seen ALL movies from 2011 that I'd like to yet but this was simply breath taking. Not felt the same way about a movie since District 13. It had action and could be viewed without too much thought but it was also engaging on far more levels than that. You really could watch it any way you wanted. Switch your brain off and enjoy or study it and be amazed.
