Brad Bird's TOMORROWLAND And Wally Pfister's TRANSCENDENCE Add More Actors
A couple of minor but still rather important sounding casting additions have been made to two of the most anticipated movies of 2014; Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol helmer Brad Bird's Tomorrowland and The Dark Knight Trilogy's DP turned director Wally Pfister's Transcendence.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that young actor Thomas Robinson (The Switch) has joined the cast of Brad Bird's top-secret Tomorrowland. We know very little about what role he will play in the movie, but it is described by insiders as being a "pivotal" one. Robinson joins George Clooney, Raffey Cassidy and Hugh Laurie in the movie which is scheduled for release on December 19th, 2014. In other news, the cast of Transcendence - which already includes an amazing lineup of actors such as Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Morgan Freeman, Rebecca Hall, Cole Hauser, Kate Mara and Cillian Murphy - has added Warm Bodies actor Cory Hardrict to that list. According to the site, he will play a, "member of an anti-technology organization known as the RIFT Unit." Transcendece is currently pencilled in for release on April 25th, 2014.
