Cars Chase Scarlett Johansson In New LUCY Clip

Early word-of-mouth for Lucy is extremely poor, but come judge for yourself with this brand new car chase clip. The film was directed by Luc Besson ("Léon: The Professional") and stars Scarlett Johansson ("Avengers: Age of Ultron").

From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. Lucy also stars Academy Award® winner Morgan Freeman and is produced by Virginie Besson-Silla for EuropaCorp. Universal Pictures will distribute the movie worldwide, except for France, Benelux and China.

I've lovd ScarJo since 'Ghostworld' and she was on FIYAH(!!) in 'Cap 2', 'Her', and 'In The Flesh'.

I'm going to check this out just to see her, even though I'm worried about the 'Resident Evil/Impossible Action-Girl' vibe I'm getting. It could be good but I don't know...I need to see more.

I definitely think it's time for a Black Widow movie.

I wish she'd grow her hair back. It was so much easier to pull her hair from behind before she cut it.

Nothing is bad when you have no taste.

@Yossarian

I just get the feeling this might end up like those atrocious Resident Evil (and Ultra Violet) films. It already looks like it's probably going that way. Also that scene when she spread her legs in the prison for that guard grossed me out. Yeeesh.

@Humperdink - Yeah. I don't know. I haven't really been paying attention to it. The trailers looked typical. It might be good. I don't know. I'm not paying to see it though. I'll give it a shot when it hits cable.
