In an interview with Elle Magazine, Casey Affleck (brother to Ben) has revealed that he has joined the cast of Interstellar. While he only confirms his involvement with the project rather than shedding any details on his character - not even the trades have been able to find that sort of thing out about the secretive project - this is an undeniably impressive addition to the already amazing cast. "I’ve got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called Out of the Furnace," he said, before adding: "And I’m going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall." He joins an incredible lineup of stars which includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine. Interstellar will be shot in IMAX and is currently set for release on November 7th, 2014.

Boateggs, shut the [frick] up.

Regardless of your feelings on Rises or Iron Man 3, both films have gone and passed.

They are the best 3rd films in a CBM trilogy we have so stop being such a blind twerp.

And Rises is at least the Return of the Jedi of the franchise if Begins was New Hope and Dark Knight was Empire. Not as fantastic but still kickass and a satisfying conclusion.

So go away.

And where are the "Nolan uses the same cast jokers"? Seriously, where are they? HURR HURR HURR WHEREZ TOM HARDY? HUR HUR HUR

@BoatEggs... you should be in the movie business, you have all the answers it seems, I look forward to Iron Man 4 were some of Earth's mightiest heroes are stuck somewhere for 2.5 hours, hey maybe in one of Wolverines testicles, but it keeps healing when they try to bust through and only Silver Surfer can save them by destroying the whole universe with his mad skills and then bringing it all back again cause he can like do all that and shit, he can anything he silver surfer, Fade Out.....

I can not wait for this. But I agree that after that shitfest we call TDKR, i hope Nolan isnt losing his touch. Finally watched TDKR again last night and it was [frick]ing terrible. I think the flamewars just force people to like it out of some weird loyalty to their respective brands. Whatever, IM3 was equally as atrocious.

Yeah, I enjoyed TDKR more or less, but it did feel like Nolan had started to lose his way.

Batman doesn't cry. Does that make him a simplistic and unrealistic character? No, it just means he's a psychopath. Get the character RIGHT, someone!

Countless number of great films now were considered bad in the past.

Most people love TDKR right now but I'm sure it will be appreciated even further down the line

@AwesomeSauce A lot of people called his Memento a masterpiece. Besides Batman, he's made films like Inception and The Prestige which are both considered to be great movies.

People are acknowledging that he's a great director, no need to get all pissy over that. This site has posted tons of stuff that has nothing to do with comic books, it's nothing new, and it's really nothing to be brought up.

The Dark Knight rises was a great movie. It didn't look like Nolan lost his touch at all.

In my opinion the only reason anyone would hate on the movie, is because they were expecting it to be better than the 2nd movie, which is ridiculous to expect that, considering how great the 2nd movie was.
MisterNiceGuy
MisterNiceGuy - 6/21/2013, 5:52 PM
MY reasons were more so based on the acting. Yes, the actors in that film are amazing but between the voices everyone puts on and the dialogue it was just cheesy to me. And that is one thing that Nolan is good at staying away from. Dont even get me started on the weak ass cliche story full of plot holes...like swiss cheese HA! another cheese reference. Like i said, people just seem to like movies now out of some sense of duty or out of spite.

@ET, normal people? Yes. Fanboys? No. They tend to make the decision of whether they like it or not before the movie even comes out. And despite how they may really feel after seeing it, they stand behind their original opinion anyway. Welcome to CBM
