According to UK E! Online's sources, the top three names being thrown around Hollywood for the role of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire are Armie Hammer, Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund. Although they also say that the studio might be looking at an unknown too.
A few days ago we reported on the rumor that
Twilight's Robert Pattinson might be up for the part, but that was debunked by the actor himself yesterday. Kitsch of course last appeared in
John Carter, Hedlund played the lead in
Tron Legacy, and Hammer will be seen next alongside Johnny Depp in
The Lone Ranger. If the role of Finnick was to come down top those three, who do you guys think would best suit the character?
Filming is scheduled to begin in the fall with Francis Lawrence taking over the directing reigns from Gary Ross.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released on Nov. 22, 2013.
