Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR Adds HOMELAND Actor Timothee Chalamet
Casting is continuing for The Dark Knight Trilogy writer-director Christopher Nolan's next film, Interstellar. Young actor Timothee Chalamet (Homeland) is the latest addition to the highly anticipated science fiction movie.
With filming beginning later this year, we have a small casting nugget for writer-director Christopher Nolan's next project, the sci-fi film Interstellar. According to The Wrap, young actor Timothee Chalamet (previously seen on Homeland) has joined the ensemble line-up for the Warner Bros./Paramount co-production. Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Bill Irwin and Michael Caine are also on board the highly anticipated movie. As usual, Chalamet's role is being kept under wraps.
Based on a script by Jonathan Nolan (and later rewritten by Chris to merge his own original idea), Interstellar follows a heroic group of explorers who travel through a wormhole and into another dimension. The ideas are based on the work of physicist Kip Thorne, who's also an executive producer. The movie is slated for a November 7th, 2014 theatrical release in IMAX.
