Oscar nominee Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' sci-fi thriller "Edge of Tomorrow," under the direction of Doug Liman. The epic action of "Edge of Tomorrow" unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

Edge of Tomorrow features:
Director: Doug Liman
Tom Cruise as Lt. Col. William "Bill" Cage
Emily Blunt as Rita Vrataski
Bill Paxton as General Farrell Bartolome
Jeremy Piven as Col. Walter Marx
Brendan Gleeson as General Brigham
Lara Pulver as Karen Lord
Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Dr. Whittle
Jonas Armstrong as Skinner
Kick Gurry as Griff
Kidus Henok as Lewis
Tony Way as Kimmel
Madeleine Mantock as Julie
Dragomir Mrsic as Kuntz
Charlotte Riley as Nance
Franz Drameh as Ford

Edge of Tomorrow hits theaters June 6, 2014.

I wasn't excited for this at all and really expected nothing from it, but I couldn't have been more surprised by it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better than Godzilla and Spidey. Hopefully the good word of mouth it's getting means it does the box office numbers it deserves when it's released in more territories this weekend.

Not a Tom Cruise fan, but I have to admit this is easily his best movie in a long time. Great action, visuals and dialogue. Think Groundhog Day meets Halo. Lots of fun will definitely see it again. Also Emily Blunt needs to be in a CBM. I can see why Marvel Studios wanted her originally for Black Widow, but now Scarlett owns that role, so maybe Medusa in an Inhumans movie or maybe Spider Woman. Anyway check this film out as it pleasantly is full of surprises and entertaining.

This movie is a must see, it tops everything I have seen this year, even Cap 2 and Xmen DOFP which I both loved. 2014 has been a very good year for sci fi/ comic book movies

@Iceman
It's not better than CAP2. It's totally different, but at the end, it's almost equally satisfying. You'll understand when you see it. Really good movie. Some of Cruise's deaths at absolutely hilarious! He totally nails the role. And Emily Blunt's Plank... Wow!!! Live, Die, Repeat! Excellent!

Saw it just 30mins ago here in Oz. Great fun/funny/entertaining movie! Didn't feel like it was getting dragged on in some parts(which i felt in DOFP and CAP2), and cgi/action not overdone. Very story driven. I'd definitely watch it a second time. A solid 8/10 for me!

Watched it last night and we had a blast! This movie's AWESOME! I'd say it's another BEST CBM next to Captain America: The Winter Soldier!
