First Official Set Image From WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES

The image below is apparently an actor in a mo-cap suit (quite possibly Andy Serkis) on a horse, on a beach, mirroring a similar shot from the original Planet Of The Apes. Matt Reeves and his crew commenced shooting the next instalment in the franchise, which is hugely anticipated after the superb Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

I loved Rises, but wasn't a fan of Dawn that much.

Dawn was proof you can make a great movie based primarily on CGI characters.

If they get this one right, it will be in my top 5 favorite trilogies.

I used to feel the same way about Dawn compared to Rise but after a good rewatch of Dawn a few weeks ago I appreciated it more once I realized how much weight it shifted towards all of the events that were set to happen within the threequel. I'm just wondering how many years are going to pass since the events of the last film?

This is going to be amazing. So far it's been one of the best franchises (even the 60's versions) and this is an amazing reboot! I can't freaking get wait!

YES!! These movies are [frick]ing amazing!!

Dawn was [frick]ing insane. It's a shame Serkis and these guys can't get oscars for best acting. Dawn had some of the best acting I've seen in awhile. And it was cgi over actor's performances.

Incredible. I'll be first in line for this shit.
