With the recent talk of George wanting to make Star Wars in 3D like Avatar, it seemed only fitting that the iconic opening text get a revamp as well.

Well done Dogs

I would say Lucas started down the path of self-parody when he started doing those made for TV Ewok movies. Even as a young lad, I knew this would be trouble.

To me, the saddest part is that when it mentions Luke's lightsaber no longer changing color, all I could think about was that that statement was wrong. It still changes color in the training scene on the Falcon. It kinnda bothers me that they fixed all the unessasary stuff but something like that that might benefit from an update was overlooked. Wow, maybe I just should have said "Thats pretty funny" and moved on. Sorry. I'm a SW junkie. Had to vent.

@Bmac-I think that is the main point of this video other than just being funny. He updated stuff that wasn't necessary. That's why I made sure the teaser picture is Luke holding a red lightsaber. I truly wish that George would leave these classics alone.

Stop trying to get every dime you can out of Star Wars and pass the torch George. Let someone like James Cameron who you gave praise the chance to take Star Wars to a new story. Star Wars is a classic. I think fans want to know what happens next. The 3-D idea is good but if you're looking to get up there with Avatar it won't happen. Even though it's Sci-Fi Avatar is more modern to join in other audiences. A character like the one in Force Unleashed would be a box office smash.

That was good, much needed indeed, but was it just me or did it seem like that was translated from some other language, I couldn't keep up with the bizarre grammar. Was it supposed to be like a conversation or something, I dunno? Pretty funny though. George Lucas is an asshole!

Sigh... Those re-edits pissed me off so much. And to replace the ghost of the actor that played Vader with a Ghost Hayden made me want to punch a small child.

freaking hilarious... But I still don't get it, a blue lightsaber? - "It's not true! That's impossible!"

George Lucas: "Search your feelings, you know it's true!"
