Go/Don't Go is a movie that launched this month starring Alex Knapp and Olivia Luccardi. The film meshes genres and is a mix of a thriller, sci-fi, and apocalyptic horror movie.

The plot of the movie surrounds a single character who believes he is the last man in the world, and he is played by Alex Knapp, who also directed and wrote the film. Throughout the story, it seems as though something is trying to contact him, whether it be through memories or visions.

Actress Olivia Luccardi portrays the woman in the "visions," and although the actress might be best known for her role in Orange Is the New Black, this is far from her first horror/thriller project. Having been in both It Follows and Channel Zero: Butchers Block, the actress spoke with us about how her newest film compares genre-wise her previous work.

You can hear what Olivia had to say about the movie in the audio clip and read this portion of the transcript below.

"Go/Don't Go is my first film apocalyptic wise, but I have done psychological thrillers. Like It Follows, there's a psychological horror and then I did Channel Zero, which was on Syfy. I did season three of that for Butcher's Block and so that's also different. That's like science fiction, creepypasta, and this to me is like an apocalyptic, psychological thriller.

No spoilers away, but it does deal with a lot of memory and someone looking back on the life of normalcy, which we can now all understand. And I liked it cause there are memories and then there's like dreams and visions and everything. So for the visions one, it was fun. It had like, for me as an actress, it was more of a surreal sort of energy I was trying to portray. And then for memories, I was terrible, but it was fun to play that etherealness about myself."

For those interested in what Luccardi has to say, we have also included our other chats with her. Don't forget to check out the trailer and synopsis for Go/Don't Go, and be sure to leave your thoughts in the usual place!
