In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers. Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.


Prometheus is out now on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK, and hits October 11th in the US.

I really liked the movie, but that was still hilarious! I liked it despite all of those problems it highlights..but anyone who tries to deny there WERE problems is fooling themselves.

I really wanted to laugh at this shitty movie but this just wasn't really that funny. I'll chalk it up to them being so busy acting like cun'ts that they forgot to put jokes in

Gladiator is overrated beyond belief, a merely okay movie at best.

In fact, Gladiator is a cliche and much more safe rip off of Game of Thrones (the first book was published before Gladiator), except GOT had actual balls

gladiator an okay movie at best,you're the first person i've ever heard say that.

gladiator won five oscars(best picture & best actor)four bafta awards(best film)& two golden globes(best motion picture)

its one of the best movies ever made,you dislike it if you want but i can't see why you dislike it.

Pretty sure he said "all those Russell Crowe movie you never saw" and does NOT list Gladiator. Jesus.

Oh i get it, its funny because you people think the Batman trilogy is overrated, and I constantly praise it, which you people think is overrated solely BECAUSE everyone praises it, which really brings irony back to you all.

Gladiator was okay, Russell Crowe was beyond overpowered and had so much plot armor. The movie is never consistent, and never in a good way (plan at the end which is foiled and then convenient random fight with Crowe to end it). King: Oh its not like Crowes a fantastic fighter or anything, ill just stab him and he'll definitely be easy to beat then. Is there supposed to be a romance between Crowe and the sister? I don't know, they kiss, although Crowe loved his wife completely apparently.

Its an okay movie, but at times it gets way too sappy and unsure of what it saying

Only real masterpiece part of the movie is Hans Zimmers brilliant score. That and the design/atmosphere of the movie, thats it.

How is it a copy of Game of Thrones? How about

Unlikable selfish son comes to power when the father of said son wants a good noble person to take his place as king instead, then the father king dies, and the selfish son comes to power and orders the execution of good noble person.

Except in GOT they have the balls to straight up kill him. In Gladiator, Crowe manages to beat like 4 warriors with nothing.

Robert wanted Ned to be king until his son was of age. That is the reason Ned was killed, because he went against Joffrey who took power by force even when he had words from the king saying he was to be the temporary king
