JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION Currently Has The Lowest Rotten Tomatoes Score Of The Franchise

Reviews for Jurassic World Dominion have been pouring in since the embargo lifted yesterday, and Universal Pictures' latest dino-disaster flick has been hit with a franchise-low score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The majority of the social media reactions to Jurassic World Dominion were far from positive, but the first round of reviews to hit Rotten Tomatoes seemed to tell a different story. Of course, we figured that initial 88% score would drop once the embargo had fully lifted, and... yeah.

With 189 reviews counted (68 Fresh, 121 Rotten), Universal's third (final?) Jurassic World currently sits at a rather dismal 36% on the aggregator. This is the lowest score of the franchise, with even the much-maligned Fallen Kingdom coming in at 47%.

The site's consensus reads: "Jurassic World Dominion might be a bit of an improvement over its immediate predecessors, but this franchise has lumbered a long way down from its classic start"

Though some found a lot to like (our own Rohan Patel enjoyed it for the most part), many critics couldn't seem to get past the weak script, muddled story, bland characters (the Jurassic Park originals aside), and lack of any genuine tension. That said, we get the impression that if all you're looking for is an excuse to see dinosaurs chase and eat people for a couple of hours, you'll probably have fun.

Do you guys plan on seeing Jurassic World Dominion in theatres, or have the reviews put you off? Drop us a comment down below.

Jurassic World was good in my opinion. It was better than The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3. But Fallen Kingdom was terrible and the concept of the dinosaurs being raffled off and then freely escaping with zero military blockades formed to stop it was ridiculous. I think Jurassic World 2 needed to have a different story.

@Nightmare - This is backdoor pilot for a new trilogy. They'll never bury it, too much money to be made.

As I always say, [frick] ROTTEN TOMATOES, their reviews always mean shit, especially their scores. People who go off of a score as to deciding whether or not to watch a movie should have their heads examined.

@n1ghtw1ng2832 - Wouldn't have put it quite so bluntly, but can't say I disagree.
