LEGION Star Dan Stevens Attempts To Save The World In The First Teaser Trailer For KILL SWITCH

The first teaser trailer for Tim Smit's very intriguing looking action/sci-fi film Kill Switch, which stars Legion actor Dan Stevens in the lead role, has now been released. Come take a look!

Dan Stevens has been on quite the roll to start 2017, headlining not just one, but two major commercial successes with his critically acclaimedf X-Men spin-off series Legion and then, the billion-dollar Disney hit Beauty and the Beast, which earned him some well-deserved worldwide recognition. His indie career has also been booming and he currently has at least three more films set to release before the end of the calendar year. 

First up on the docket is the mysterious Kill Switch, a film from first-time director Tim Smit, best known for his work as a VFX supervisor and is based on his short What's in the Box? Stevens portrays the lead character Will Porter, a pilot and physicist, who, after an ambitious experiment to harness parallel universes goes horribly wrong, must do everything in his power to save the world from certain annhilation. 

Stevens will be joined by Bérénice Marlohe (Skyfall), Tygo Gernandt (Black Death), and Charity Wakefield (The Player), amongst others. Omid Nooshin (Last Passenger) and Charlie Kindinger penned the script.

It'll first arrive on Ultra VOD on May 19 before releasing in select theaters & VOD on June 16.

Acclaimed writer-director Tim Smit explodes on to the scene with his futuristic, VFX-heavy feature debut! KILL SWITCH charts the story of a pilot battling to save his family and the planet, based on Smit’s short What’s In The Box?

Set in a future version of the world, the video game style plot follows an experiment for unlimited energy, harnessing parallel universes, which goes wrong. Chased by drones and soldiers, pilot and physicist Will Porter must race through an imploding world to get the Redivider box to a tower, which will save humanity, including his family, in the real world.
