Despite facing heavy competition from Marvel's Doctor Strange and Warner Bros.' Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Paramount Pictures' critically acclaimed sci-fi drama Arrival managed to hold its own at the box office, grossing over $99.5 million domestic and over $194.8 million worldwide on a very modest budget of $47 million.
The Denis Villeneuve-directed feature, which starred 5x Academy Award-nominee Amy Adams (Justice League), 2x Academy Award-nominee Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Infinity War), and Academy Award-winner Forest Whitaker (Black Panther) in the lead roles, received an outstanding eight Academy Award nominations, including for Best Picture and Best Director.
The film finally arrived on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD yesterday, on Valentine's Day, and along with the release, a few cool new bonus items have arrived.
