A brand new still from Ridley Scott's Alien spin-off has popped up online. It's a nice pic, though it paints a familiar picture..

Here we have a new still from what has to be considered one of the most highly anticipated Sci-fi movies of all time. Once again it's a space suited individual (most probably Noomi Rapace's character) staring at a giant head. They really are keeping this one as mysterious as possible..

Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.

Prometheus hits theatres June 8th, 2012.

I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE NOW! If it's rated 18, then I won't be able to see it and I'll have to watch it online -.-

If this isn't a slasher film in space, but a true sci-fi epic, I'll happily invest in a ticket, but if it's "watch um' die one-by-one"...not interested.

@ Moviemaster. Under 18? THAT's why your articles are/were they way they are. That explains it all!!! I'll give you a pass from now on, buddy.

I have high hopes for any Ridley Scott project, but I have to admit that the description up there certainly sounds like some others we have seen, ie The Abyss, Event Horizon, Sphere, Supernova etc.

can't wait... i wonder if this ship is the same ship they discovered in "Alien"?

I think the walls and pillars look quite similar to the walls you would see in an Alien hive. Its not exact but you can see "traces of the same architecture".

@SuperFrost yes it is obviously the same ship. I take it this is the first you have heard or seen of this film because that piece of information was made very clear and evident months ago.

why do people keep saying "new picture", when it is the same god damned thing. That [frick]ing face from a different angle, with someone standing in front of it. I swear if the whole movie revolves around that face, I'm not seeing it. Ridley, release NEW PICTURE from the movie!
