Damn this looks incredibly good!!! Especially since the original kicked ass!!! Plus it's our old buddy from Double Dragon on there! You know, the one with the acting talent but no fighting skills what so ever. The one that had all the fighting skills but no acting talent was Marc Dacascos. I was soooo pissed of seeing Alisa Milano as a short haired blond.

Yeah, how this isn't on the front page is beyond me...

haha, no way keepitreal! It was the sdame in my house. I had to go to bed as soon as V started..but i used to sneak down and hound my brother until he recorded it for me so i got to see most of them. I loved it then..i reckon its seriously dated now though

@darthstern wow you just brought back memories. manimal...lol it has been a while. hey does anyone remember that show where there was a guy that could turn into a car or helicopter etc. he was blue. I can't remember the name for the life of me. Although this is a remake, i do hope it is well made as i was a big fan of this show when i was younger.

If humans came from primates and Reptiles preceded primates by hundreds of millions of years. There is always more to everything.......

The show won't last, it would have worked for SciFi, but I bet it gets canceled on ABC before the 9th episode.

Looks like a decent show though, I think I can see where a lot of other shows and movies got their inspiration from, but the cgi is shoddy and the story has no mainstream appeal. Invasion was good and it failed, I don't see why the same network would try the same recipe twice.

V is a classic? Really? Most people don't even remember it...

I will reserve judgment for when it premieres...

And the original doesn't stand the test of time. I bought it for my father-in-law, and was really dissappointed when I watched it. Was really corny.

Actually im not, other then showing one space ship, it looks nothing like it, and if your saying this looks like independence day because of a space ship you would have to say every move that has a space ship looks like one another, which is just stupid. Hey YOHON @ I'll give the show a chance man, hopefully it'll be good, heck hopefully it could be the next BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, (Yeah i know CAPRICAS that lol).

I don't know about you guys, but im getting sick of all these remakes, reboots, prequels now, an most don't make it! Oh well, fingers crossed! ; )

This is a great one to remake. It was a great show in the 80's. Unfortunately, the tail end of the series was crap as the writing sucked and half of the good characters left (or got killed off). I hope ABC can make a sci-fi show good from start to finish.

To those guys who were talking about Invasion not lasting, it wasn't because of the show. Though it started slow, the show really picked up after things started unravelling. The main characters were excellent. Show get cancelled because of the lack of or poor promotion. Arrested Development got cancelled too but that has to be ONE OF the funniest sitcoms that has ever been put together.

Back to V, Baccarin is a hot 2009 version of Diana (or whatever her name will be). I wonder if they're going to have remade characters like Donovan, Juliet, and/or Cutter. That would make it even spicer. They at least have to have some kind of cameo with Marc Singer and/or Michael Ironside. We'll see but I'm really looking forward to this one.

I dont know... I just seems more plausible than the whole "virgen mary" and "Holy Trinity" and "resurrections" and all that to me. Hearing "the thundering voice of God"... Did you see all those ancient pictures?! Ockham's Razor says the simplest explanation should be preferred or "The simplest explanation for a phenomenon is most likely the correct explanation.". The tunnels? which ones? tell me.

If they are on a reboot kick then i want to see flash. This show was so cool when it was on in the 90's. way ahead of its time. Still looking forward to V.
