PACIFIC RIM Reaches $400M Worldwide; Blu-ray 3D Cover And Collector's Edition Revealed

As you can see from the Tweet below, Pacific Rim has managed to reach $100 million in North America, giving it a worldwide total of $400 million. While this is certainly a better result than many ever expected, the huge production budget and marketing costs may still mean that the studio will never truly be comfortable enough to greenlight a sequel. Stranger things have happened of course, so we'll just have to wait and see! Thanks to Twitter's @_NerdyGeek_, we also have a first look at the Blu-ray 3D cover and Collector's Edition. When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end.
