Benicio Del Toro (GOTG, Sicario, Star Wars: Episode VIII) is in negotiations to star in Iron Man 3 director Shane Black's upcoming reboot of the Predator franchise, which is currently being dubbed The Predator. No plot details yet, but according to THR the movie will be "an ensemble piece anchored by the character to be played by Del Toro."

Though there's still nothing concrete, speculation persists that Arnold Schwarzenegger might return for a cameo. The recent rumor that James Franco might be in line for a role isn't mentioned.

The Predator is set to hit theatres on February 9, 2018.
