Shane Black's THE PREDATOR Adds KEY AND PEELE Actor/Comedian Keegan-Michael Key
Following last night's news that Trevante Rhodes had joined the cast of Shane Black's The Predator flick, it's being reported that Keegan-Michael Key is also in final negotiations for a role.
According to THR, Keegan-Michael Key is in final talks for a role in Shane Black's The Predator. Key's casting comes on the heels of the announcement that Moonlight's Trevante Rhodes had also signed on as an ex-marine, who teams up with his pal (Boyd Holbrook) and Olivia Munn's scientist to take on the iconic alien hunters. All we know about Key's character for the moment is that he's "a man who teams up with Holbrook and Rhodes to fight the creatures."
Key is probably best known as being one half of comedy duo Key and Peele alongside Jordan Peele, but he's also appeared in the likes of Parks and Recreation, Tomorrowland, and Why Him.
Black is directing from a script by Fred Dekker, while John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon are producing. The Predator is currently set for release on February 9th, 2018.
