Chronicle with director Josh Trank is reportedly set to reprise his screenwriting duties for the sequel. The found footage film is about three teenagers that come upon a mysterious object that allows them to gain superpowers. The film was absolutely terrific from the dialogue to the special effects. Everything just worked really well.
Only problems moving forward is that the film felt finished, a sequel seems unnecessary, and director Josh Trank looks to be moving on to a Spider-Man spin-off film about Venom. Not sure how successful the film will be without it's original director, but I guess we'll find out.
