Apple has now officially announced a launch date and subscription details for its new streaming service, Apple TV+, and the first trailer for one of its new shows has also been released.
See is a post-apocalyptic drama series set thousands of years in the future when most of the Earth's population is has been stricken blind by a mysterious virus. Jason Momoa plays the leader of a warrior tribe named Baba Voss, who must protect two children from his village when they are born with the ability to see.
See also stars Alfre Woodard as Paris, a priestess and adviser to Voss. The show is written by Steven Knight (
Peaky Blinders) and directed by Francis Lawrence (
The Hunger Games franchise).
