HAN SOLO: The Empire Will Play A Role In The Upcoming STAR WARS Spinoff
The Empire has been present in every single Star Wars movie to date but what about the upcoming Han Solo? A new set photo from director Ron Howard reveals more about their presence in the spinoff...
Han Solo has had a pretty tumultuous production process, with original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller replaced by Ron Howard more than halfway into shooting after their approach to the movie upset Disney and Lucasfilm and led to them being fired. In order to keep fans excited about the spinoff, Howard has been sharing plenty of behind the scenes photos and the latest is very intriguing indeed.
As you can see below, it features a very recognisable helmet and the image was captioned, "The Empire Looms Large." What role the villains will play here remains to be seen but it makes sense that their presence in the Galaxy will be felt as Han Solo takes place just a few years before A New Hope.
There doesn't appear to be a huge amount of excitement or positive buzz around Han Solo, mainly because fans seem to have mixed feelings on the character getting his own movie sans Harrison Ford.
The signs are pointing to it being pretty good, though, and the addition of the Empire is very interesting indeed. What do you guys think of this new behind the scenes photo? Share your thoughts below.
