Starring a small band of heroes -- Sabine, Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper -- Star Wars Rebels is set in a time where the Empire rules through fear and shrouds the galaxy in darkness. This trailer offers many new glimpses at sequences from the show, including the starship Ghost chased by TIE Fighters; young Ezra watching as a Star Destroyer looms overhead; Stormtroopers marching; a zero-g fight between our heroes and Imperials; and Kanan, a secret Jedi, assembling his lightsaber and preparing for battle. It ends, however, with an Imperial officer reporting to the Inquisitor -- the Empire's Jedi hunter, seen and heard here for the first time. Star Wars Rebels takes place between Star Wars: Episode III and IV as the Empire tightens its grip on the galaxy and a rebellion begins to form. The series, executive produced by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman, is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel and will be followed by a series on Disney XD.

I never liked Star Wars and I'll never will. But I'm glad to see Freddie Prince Jr. having fun and still doing big things in the game. He brought Fred to life and its a shame we never got a Scooby-Doo 3. The Scooby-Doo films will forever be a part of who I am and when life gets ruff I know I have Scooby-Doo films to cheer me up. { Who do you think you are? "SCOOBY!DOOBY!DOO!!! Hmm." }

Wait, this has Freddie Prinze, Jr.? I thought that guy fell off the face of the planet. The first date I ever went on was to see I Know What You Did Last Summer. Good times.

I enjoy it too, it's still the first season and we have to give it a chance to find it's footing.

I like the show ok. The first episode and the one with Kanan facing off with the Inquistitor for the first time was exciting. I think it does however suffer the "filler" epsiode dilemma. Bottom line it's a kids show and my nephew, son and even my one year old daughter really like it.

I really like this show. It gets better episode by episode. It's also just fun to hear speeder and tie fighter sounds on a weekly basis. I hope they bring Ahsoka back as some kind of badass rebel. Never thought I would have said that after seen The Clone Wars movie. They really turned her into something interesting.

This show is way better than that piece of shit "The Clone Wars". That was the last nail in the Lucas coffin imo.

I enjoy this show. Definitely not aimed at folks my age, but I watch it with my nieces who are in grade school and they love it. And since the first movie they ever watched was Empire Strikes Back (the original, unaltered cut), it's fun for us to watch together and get our Star Wars fix. It's also cool hat they have some half-decent female characters that can kick some butt, are not useless or princesses, and don't constantly bring up the fact that they are female in some way. Girls need more empowering female role models that aren't so blatantly forcing gender at them. Good for you, Rebels.
