We thought we'd have to make do with a few low-res screenshots of the new
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker footage that screened at D23 over the weekend, but luckily for us it's now been officially released online!
The trailer starts with a recap of the previous films in the Skywalker Saga before bringing us up to date with Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren, BB-8 and the rest of the new characters. There's quite a bit of awesome new footage here, but all anyone is going to be talking about is that shot of "Dark Rey".
Has the heroic Jedi really gone to the dark side, or is this simply some kind of vision of what might have been?
