Following yesterday's covers, Vanity Fair has just released a full gallery of gorgeous new Star Wars: The Last Jedi images.

The striking photos provide a mixture of character portraits, behind-the-scenes pics, and even some action shots of Rey and Kylo Ren swinging their lightsabers. Plus, we finally get our first official glimpses of Laura Dern as Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, and Benicio Del Toro's enigmatic grifter, "DJ".

In addition to the photos, we get some new character details and a few minor plot hints. For example, the "glittering casino city" that Finn and Rose pay a visit to is called Canto Bight. Plus, it sounds like there's going to be some tension between General Organa (Carrie Fisher) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac):

“We did this scene where Carrie has to slap me,” the Ex Machina actor revealed. “I think we did 27 takes in all, and Carrie leaned into it every time, man. She loved hitting me. Rian found such a wonderful way of working with her, and I think she really relished it.”

There's much more at VanityFair.com, so be sure to head on over there to take a look.
