@Ror

Hey Ror did you hear about the remake of the movie 'Let the right one in" called Let me in, I remember you saying liked that movie thought you might want to know if you didn't already. I was going to make an article, but its got nothing to do with comics.

@Yohon

The guy that did Cloverfield is doing that one. And I thought that was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Let The Right One In, that is...

@CBM

Well im only 23, so I wasn't even alive for some of their best stuff, but that doesn't mean im not a fan. Me and my friends live by these movies, I love being a hippie man. Were the guys you see sitting out on the porch smoking and drinking, the people that Grill out everyday but 4th of july lol.

@Lee

Yeah man don't worry, I knew this wasn't a big comic book thing, so I didn't think it would get much notice. This was just more me loving these guys and wanting to see who else did. If you like the movies you would love there music and stand up, you should check out some of their CD's, great stuff.

@ CBM...I am only 25, but I do know who they are. I was born after their prime years in the 70's, but my dad did introduce me to Up In Smoke, Next Movie and Nice Dreams. I ended up discovering Still Smoking on my own.

I know this isn't the Robocop page...but it relates to something Cheech and Chong would know about. Lol.

@BarneyStinson

Ive smoked weed and watched them, but the last time I did shrooms I left this world. I don't see me being able to watch a movie. Maybe you were just eating regular mushrooms?

Yohon, yeah i read about that, they are calling it simply..Let Me In! Maybe they felt the original title had too many words to snag the American audiences interest;)..that was a joke before anyone tears me a new one! But there is an element of truth to it, in regards to the film makers i mean, not the audience. That movie never needed an English remake, the movie was perfect as it was and only made last year! But these idiot [frick]ing film makers think a subtitled movie won't be seen by anyone stateside..i think they are wrong. It just needs proper marketing and exposure.

RolandOfGilead - 7/15/2009, 2:56 PM
@ Rorschach...I agree. Most foreign films brought to America can work, it's all about how they market it. I personally loved Pans Labyrinth and didn't mind reading subtitles. If someone says they won't see a movie because of subtitles they are either lazy or illiterate or they are flat out closed minded. Lol.

@Ror

Yeah I think you know I didn't like the movie, but I knew you said you liked it, so I just wanted to make sure you knew about it.

Like it or not, I hate when America has to bastardize movies for the dumb blondes and average joe tween just to try and cash in on something.

~edit~ I watched both of those movies and I have no problem reading, but I just didn't like them.
