Sam Flynn (Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Bridges), a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn’s Arcade — a signal that could only come from his father– he finds himself pulled into a digital world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. Ok, I'll admit that calling it "stunning" was pushing it but the font they've used is at least alright looking! :D

Destroyer: Thanks bud. And I agree, unless this poster has some sort of 3D or holographic effect to it when it's displayed in cinemas, it is indeed a big let down!

It's also got that terrible tangent with the slogan "It not just a game anymore" Also the "D" in December matching up with the tube line perfectly, that's amateur, when doing designs like this professional artists know to watch for tangents like this.

This is most certainly not a real poster.

Stumblin: I'm no expert on these things, so you could be right, but it's from a reliable source so I'd say it's more likely the work of some lazy intern at Disney! That, or as LEE said, maybe it's supposed to have that crappy 80's look!?

I get what you mean Josh, but even so it's still a very poor job. The background was taken from the actual posters and duplicated and flipped hence the mirror image.

The tangents I mentioned before has always been a rule in graphic design farther back than the 80's and have held true through today.

Nothing personal against your source but they are most certainly wrong.

This poster screams amateur, and look up the original posters from the first Tron and notice they have no similarity at all. This is definitely not real, even weak poster designs don't fall for the problems this poster has. Also, the 80's posters look better than this! Look at the saturation of the colors compared to the posters we have seen and the posters from the first movie, this one is completely out of place. It's very gray and dull, and with the weak points in the design of the composition I have zero doubt I'm right on this.

However, if by some lottery chance I'm wrong then that graphic designer should be canned and kicked in the whatever private parts they may have.

I do this for a living and graduated with a BFA in Sequential Art so I got an eye for this stuff :D thanks for the boobies!
