SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS Clip Features One Of The MCU's Best Fight Scenes Yet

In the latest clip from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, we see more of that fight scene on the bus, and to call this one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's best fight scenes is no exaggeration.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, and the actor brought a new clip from the movie with him. This one expands on that fight scene on the bus we've seen in the trailers, and to say the action here is intense would be an understatement.

This is honestly one of the coolest action scenes we've seen from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Shang-Chi is clearly a skilled fighter who is going to be more than capable of holding his own.

There are no superpowers on display here, and the hero is just a legit badass. The fight choreography is incredible, and if this is a taste of what's to come next month, we fully expect to be blown away. More clips are likely to be released over the next couple of weeks, and while there are no real spoilers to be found here, that will hopefully remain the case moving forward.

The clip begins at 9:40 mark, but should begin automatically when you hit play!

"Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is currently set to be released exclusively in theaters on September 3, 2021.

The stunt work and camera work are so clean. Goddamn.

You can really see the Jackie Chan influence there. It made me think about how the comics often present characters as experts in various martial arts and fighting techniques, yet in the films it’s pretty basic. Fox-Men Wolverine for instance barely looks like he’s trained, but of course is one of Marvel’s most seasoned fighters and an expert at almost every style. Would be cool if they showed some of that in the films once they get there.

@IronGenesis - Is it only Snyder shit you're okay with being hyped about?

@SnideCut - super hyped for Shang-Chi. My previous comments about Thsi being a breath of fresh air and a new beginning for MCU in multiple other threads shows that.

I’m just having a little fun with the hyperbolic nature of description to juice revenue on a product.

Consumer Privilege to call out that nonsense out.

Gotta say, I'm torn with this movie right now. On one hand, it looks really good, and should be an example of how representation is done in Hollywood. I.e., less black superman and more original minority characters.

On the other hand, simu Liu is really not someone I like all that much as a person. He twisted the words of the current ceo of disney to make him sound racist (something he as of yet hasn't apologized for) and downplayed the accomplishments of the likes of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee by saying there hasn't been a hero for Asian people to look up to.

I guess I can just separate the art from the artist and hope someone behind the scenes gives him a reality check.

@Origame - 100% agree on that first part my man.

As for Simu, i am hoping he doesn't go down that path much longer. I really like the dude. Been a fan since Kim's Convenience started and glad to see him blowing up like this.
