There's a little over a week to go until Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters, and Marvel Studios has now released the first of what is sure to be many critics TV spots for the movie.

This one sees the praise come thick and fast, which is no great surprise when the second Phase 4 big screen adventure is currently sitting at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. A total of 103 reviews have been counted thus far, while Shang-Chi was recently given that highly sought after "Certified Fresh" badge.

With the movie is set to be released exclusively in theaters with a 45-day window, we're sure the box office numbers for this one are going to be good. As a result, a sequel already seems likely, and that's something star Simu Liu recently commented on during an interview with Radio Times

"Certainly I hope to be back," the actor said of his MCU future following the release of Shang-Chi. "Where we leave off in the movie certainly kind of alludes to it. Fingers crossed."

"Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is currently set to be released exclusively in theaters on September 3, 2021.

Can't wait to see this. Pleasantly surprised by the scores.

I knew it would be good (it's MCU after all, Feige never misses), but I didn't expect it to have a 90+ on RT!

Wong having Abomination punch himself through the sling portals. Very inventive.

Not that I expect a TV spot promoting the movie to say otherwise, but still cool.

If you see an ad with critics response this usually isn't a good sign.
