SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS: Marvel Studios Drops Another Trailer Teasing Plenty Of Epic Action

It's not the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer we're all waiting for, but Marvel Studios just dropped a new look at Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings that's packed full of action-packed footage...

We're all waiting on the first Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer to be released by Sony Pictures, but over at Marvel Studios, it's business as usual. With roughly ten days to go until Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters, a new two-minute sneak peek has been released that, while mostly made up of familiar footage, is sure to get you psyched for September 3.

There are a lot of big action scenes here, and a tonne of mystical creatures that would seem to confirm that this movie is going to open the doors to some exciting new places in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Look closely and you'll even see what comes next for Death Dealer after yesterday's spoilery TV spot!

This movie does look awesome, and with the review embargo set to lift in a matter of hours, we'll soon have a better idea of what to expect from Shang-Chi's big screen (and live-action) debut. One thing we can say for sure is that this looks like a blockbuster that's worth a trip to the theater for.

Check out the new Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings trailer below:

"Marvel Studios' 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.

The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is currently set to be released exclusively in theaters on September 3, 2021.

I don’t have sky high expectations for this movie but I’m getting a good feeling from what I’ve seen and what others who have already seen it are saying.

Since the embargo is lifting today and will certainly drive more buzz for Shang-Chi, Sony should just wait until tomorrow to officially release the No Way Home trailer or tonight after the CinemaCon presentation.

Now with my city of Auckland and most of NZ back in highest level lockdown with expected rise in cases and high chance our lockdown will last a month at least, no chance to watch this at the cinema. So I will have to stay off this site, unfollow every marvel and cbm related page on whatever media I use just to avoid spoilers until it drops in dplus

I SAW SHANG CHI!!! NO SPOILERS: I was able to see SHang Chi last week at an early screening in san diego. The movie was great!! Great action, well choreographed, visually stunning. It does a great job at pealing back another corner of the MCU universe and at doing an awesome job at representing Asian culture! 2 great world building end credit scenes. Ben kingsley was great in this and aquafina was a crowd pleaser! Cage fight that is seen in the commercial has quite a twist to what has already been shown. This movie is for sure worth a trip to the movie theater!!!

I have to say aim not familiar with this character at all the more I see the more it's looking alright.

what im wondering though is he the start of the new avengers team assume they are probably building.

I just hope if they are that the next team works out as good as the main lineup because only the real comic book readers ae going to be familiar with these obscure characters and are they enough for the next 10 years ?

Honestly, this is probably the best trailer yet. I really want to see this in theaters.

I'm not really liking what I've seen of the final fight. It's obviously done in a big blue empty sound stage so the world is fully CGI, they're fighting with CGI rings channeling CGI energy and there's going to be CGI models of the characters for some moves as usual, it's just too CGI focused.
I know it's not fair to judge a movie for what it isn't & I'll very likely enjoy the full thing when I actually see the movie, but it's just a downer for me. I wanted a proper kung fu focused fight between them.
