The first trailer for Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings was released back in April, and a second sneak peek for the Marvel Studios movie will debut during NBA Countdown on ESPN tonight.
Based on past experience, we're sure that means it's going to be shared online immediately after it airs on television, so you'll want to come back here then to check it out (in the meantime, you can find plenty of Shang-Chi updates under our tab for the movie). Oh, and yes, we are getting a second trailer for this movie before a first look at December's Spider-Man: No Way Home!
There's nothing to be done about that, of course, and it's hopefully not too far away at this point.
In terms of what's revealed in this trailer teaser, there are some very cool shots of Shang-Chi battling Razor Fist and Wenwu/The Mandarin unleashing the power of his mysterious Ten Rings.
"Marvel Studios’ 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings' stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization," reads a brief synopsis shared by Marvel Studios a couple of months ago.
The movie also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by David Callahan, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Lanham the movie is set to be released theatrically on September 3rd, 2021.
