Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be available to purchase on Blu-ray from tomorrow, and Marvel Studios has now shared another deleted scene.

"Two Sons" is actually an extended version of a sequence from the theatrical version of the movie which reveals that Razor Fist (Florian Munteanu) was just out of shot during the dinner table scene. Wenwu (Tony Leung) tells the story of how he first met "Mateus" as a child in Romania and adopted him as his own. Katy (Awkwafina) then points out that calling himself Razor Arm would make a lot more sense.

It's a bit of a throwaway moment so it's not hard to see why it was dropped, but it does give Munteanu more screen-time while fleshing out his character's relationship with Wenwu. The Creed 2 actor also featured in an earlier deleted scene, which suggests that quite a bit of his performance ended up on the cutting room floor.

Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.

Ha, that's actually a good and nice scene, should have been included in the film.

More Awkwafina is always better! Now we just need to get her and Luis sharing scenes in the next Avengers movie alongside Shang-Chi and Ant-Man.

I'm glad it was deleted. The acting in that deleted scene was iffy especially from Florian. And it took away from the personal conversation between Wenwu and his actual children. Plus it makes Wenwu come off more as Thanos in this moment.

The only thing I remember about this movie is that I really liked it and Aquifina scenes were odd.

@Baf - I have never liked a film I couldn't remember. I remember almost all of it.

Different people process/interpret/store (or something like that) information differently.

@LSHF - strange phenom with this movie. I remember liking the 70s vibe with updated graphics but I could not tell you the name of one character in the movie aside from the main character. Including the villian. I remember Trevor

@Baf - Same here, but then I am horrible at remembering names. I have to see them several times and and/or use them some.

And I usually don't pay attention to details like what people are wearing, or the cars they drive, or other information that is not interesting to me. But I remember most everything that "happened".

I just suck at remembering names. Hell, I have forgotten my own "username" here several times.

Really wish that we would have gotten more of this content setting up Razor Fist as "the good son." It would have made his choice at the end much more resonant.

His face as they're telling him his razor isn't a fist is hilarious. Definitely a nice scene, not sure why it didn't make the cut

always thought it was weird that Death Dealer died unceremoniously, despite the movie going out of it's way to establish a rivalry between him and the pritagonist. While Razorfist lived, and weirdly changed sides at the end. Him getting deleted development explains a lot.

That really shouldn't have been deleted from the main cut as it fleshes out more Razor Fist about why he is loyal to Wenwu beyond just being another henchman in the Ten Rings.

Interesting that they should make RazorFist Wenwu's adopted son. And interesting that they should not include it.

One of the biggest omissions from the film was Midnight Sun (M'Nai), his step-brother in the comics and one of the first villains he faced. Even though he died in his first story, he was popular enough to be resurrected and pop up in other books later on.

Thereare also a couple of instances of other brothers that became big end-of-level bosses for Shang-Chi. There was his monstrous genetically engineered brother that he fought in Fu Manchu's satellite in a final battle with his father in the original Doug Moench comics and there was another similarly secret brother when Moench returned for the Marvel MAX book years later. Both were big, climactic fights to the death.
(All three were technically fights to the death if you include Midnight's first appearance).

So I wonder if they've decided to include one of his brothers (or a composite of all of them) in the next movie and that's why this scene was cut.

I like Munteanu, I don't know why. He just intrigues me as an actor
