Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be available to purchase on Blu-ray from tomorrow, and Marvel Studios has now shared another deleted scene.
"Two Sons" is actually an extended version of a sequence from the theatrical version of the movie which reveals that Razor Fist (Florian Munteanu) was just out of shot during the dinner table scene. Wenwu (Tony Leung) tells the story of how he first met "Mateus" as a child in Romania and adopted him as his own. Katy (Awkwafina) then points out that calling himself Razor Arm would make a lot more sense.
It's a bit of a throwaway moment so it's not hard to see why it was dropped, but it does give Munteanu more screen-time while fleshing out his character's relationship with Wenwu. The Creed 2 actor also featured in an earlier deleted scene, which suggests that quite a bit of his performance ended up on the cutting room floor.
Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.
