Shazam! Movie Conjures Up New Writers

According to IGN FilmForce, Shazam! has conjured up two new writers: Joel Cohen & Alec Sokolow.

According to IGN FilmForce, the writing team of Joel Cohen & Alec Sokolow are now entrusted with turning in a new Shazam! screenplay. Other credits include Toy Story, Money Talks, Goodbye Lover, Cheaper by the Dozen and Garfield.

In the comics Billy Batson discovers that he can conjure up the powers of an ancient Egyptian wizard named Shazam. In the comics Shazam itself is an acronym for Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury. In Hollywood, Shazam means 'to make a quick buck for the studio'.
