SHAZAM Star Zachary Levi Proudly Shows Off His Character's Comic Accurate Haircut

While we all wait patiently for a first look at Zachary Levi suited up as Shazam in the upcoming DC Comics movie, the actor has shared a fresh look at his haircut and it's definitely comic book accurate!

Zachary Levi as Shazam is one of those casting decisions no one could have expected that feels perfect in hindsight. While we're going to have to wait and see how he does in the role, fans of his past work know just how talented he is and it seems the actor is having a great time shooting the DC movie.

As you can see below, he's now shared a photo of himself getting his hair done for shooting and it's instantly apparent that this movie is sticking very close to the source material (at least in this respect). 

It's a pretty unusual looking haircut but one which should definitely work when we see Levi suited up as Shazam. According to director David F. Sandberg, that reveal is coming at some point in the near future and he says that the costume is inspired by the version in animated movie, Justice League: War.
