SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS First Poster Sees Billy Batson's Powerful Alter-Ego Pull Off Some Impressive Moves

Warner Bros. has released the first poster for Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and it features Zachary Levi's heroic Billy Batson making it clear he still isn't taking this whole superhero thing too seriously.

The first trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods dropped during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, though the sequel has shifted release dates at least a couple of times since then. It's now coming our way next year, and in the wake of Black Adam crossing $300 million at the worldwide box office, we finally have a poster for the Shazam! follow-up.

Similar to the first movie's teaser poster, it features the title character not exactly taking this whole superhero malarky all that seriously. However, he's switched out a cell phone and some bubblegum for...wait, is that a scooter?!

It looks like the magically charged hero is pulling off some impressive dance moves, but something tells us this could be a hint about at least one memorable sequence in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Nearer its release, we're sure the rest of the Shazam Family will receive the spotlight, not to mention the movie's villains.

For now, though, this is a fun tease and a whole different sort of tone from what we've seen in recent months from Black Adam's far more serious marketing campaign.

Check out this new poster for the sequel below.

Anyone reading Mary Marvel's mini that DC is publishing right now?

Love her, this time i'm watching the movie especially for her.

@Doomsday8888 - The bunny deserves carrots.

I find myself always gravitating towards cape books where the hero has to really balance their real life with their (reluctant) heroics, so this has been up my alley.

@Doomsday8888 - There are so many good DC comics right now. My reading pile is full of DC. Marie Javins really turned things around.

I think Superman: Space Age is a future classic.

Costume looks great except for those staples. Why are they there? Looks stupid.

Loved the first, looking forward to the second for sure.

Right now my only fear is the dynamic between the Shazam family themselves. Like in the first Billy was a true main character with a supporting cast that got super powered. With everyone in the family being super powered, and seemingly this one being about Billy being worried of his family moving on, I hope the focus and heart is still there

The first one is still my favorite DCEU movie so I hope this sequel is enjoyable and not a travesty like WW84.
