Director Robert Rodgriguez on the improved filming technology on display in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For [via Collider]. Rodriguez declined to comment on rumors that the Weinstein Co. are planning a Sin City tv series to follow the sequel movie.

RR: "That technology has gotten much better. We shot in 3D, so it’s going to be as if you’re completely immersed in the Sin City world. What’s really great is just the stories and the characters. When you see the first trailer, you’re going to go, “Okay, I want to go there.” You so much want to go back to that world. That’s what I really love about TV. When we create something, we’ll be able to just keep people in that world because they love it. People are upset they have to wait so long. It’s seven years for another Sin City. If we’re going to make something and be innovative, and create something really cool, let’s just keep it going, so people can make that part of their diet."

Actor Powers Boothe, who played a member of the World Security Council in Joss Whedon's Avengers on whether he's been asked by Marvel Studios to reprise his role in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Dominic Cooper spoke about his involvement in Duncan Jones' Warcraft movie to IGN and Collider.

Cooper: It’s a mix, it’s a real mix of those worlds crashing together,” when asked how the video game movie compares to the premiere sword and fantasy tv epic of today, Game of Thrones. He continued, “I don’t know the game that well. I’ve come to learn that there is more than 13 million playing the game online, so now I can understand the secrecy around the script and the film. It’s a massive adventure. I’m so excited to work with [Duncan Jones] and the whole project is just massive and kind of exciting. It’s really, really cool. Really good script [I'll be in] Vancouver for a long time. It’s a very long shoot. [via VideoGameFilms.com]

Who cares about the Security Council in Avengers? Nick Fury should have been bitching to Doctor Strange or [frick]ing Professor X, not some random people given dumb things to do like launching nukes on New York.

Nonetheless I had no idea Boothe was in The Avengers. Still remember him from Deadwood and 24.

I must say, shooting IN 3-D is a far funner experience than that after-the-fact conversion shit.

Forgot Powers Boothe was in the first film. He didn't get much screen time. What a waste of a good actor. Been a fan of his ever since he played cult leader, Jim Jones.

If a film is actually "shot" in 3-D it's totally cool with viewers. However when they do last minute conversions the experience doesn't live up to the hype.

Sin City is in my top 10 movies ever, so I'm beyond excited for A Dame To Kill For. Also, Robert Rodriguez' use of 3D is kind of gimmicky (the Spy Kids movies), so I'm worried about that...

Hope it happens but agree with SkeemAn, unless it is HBO or Showtime and can foot the cash to make it great - not worth it.
