SIN CITY TV Reboot In The Works With Glen Mazzara Writing And Len Wiseman On Board To Direct

Sin City is coming to the small screen, as TWC/Dimension is developing a TV reboot of the iconic comic series with the likes of The Walking Dead's Glen Mazzara on board. More past the jump...

According to Deadline, there's a TV reboot of Sin City in the works from TWC/Dimension with Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead, The Shield, Damian) on board as writer, and Len Wiseman (Underworld, Lucifer) handling directing duties. These two will also produce along with Stephen L’Heureux (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) and Sin City creator, Frank Miller.

The site mentions that this small-screen take will "hew closely to the graphic novels", but also that it's going to be a "far departure from the films, introducing original characters and timelines within the Sin City universe." The movies were very faithful to the comics (arguably to a fault), so this definitely seems like a contradiction.

At any rate, Networks are reportedly beginning to show interest, so we should have some more to go on pretty soon.
