SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Earth Elemental Concept Art Is Part-Horror Movie, Part-Comic Accurate Sandman

Some new Spider-Man: Far From Home concept art has been revealed today and it reveals vastly different takes on the Earth Elemental which attacked Nick Fury and Maria Hill at the start of the sequel...

Spider-Man: Far From Home kicks off with Nick Fury and Maria Hill coming face to face with a massive Earth Elemental. As they fire some shots at the creature, Mysterio "arrives" on Earth and dispatches it off screen. It's a brief sequence but some newly surfaced concept art from the sequel's "Art of" book has revealed just how different this Elemental could have looked.

From designs which were quite clearly inspired by how Sandman appears in the comic books to versions which are pure nightmare fuel, these are all really amazing...and pretty darn crazy!

The Elementals didn't play a huge role in Spider-Man: Far From Home as they were just illusions created by Mysterio but seeing the wall-crawler square off with them was a lot of fun (and he needed a major threat after being part of the battle against Thanos and his army of space creatures).

That's the problem with buzz phrases. "Comic accuracy" is irrelevant this week, won't be important again for at least another four or five months.
