New SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Images Revealed; Angourie Rice's Role Finally Revealed
A trio of spectacular new Spider-Man: Homecoming images have found their way online, while a junior novel for the reboot finally reveals which comic book character Angourie Rice will be playing...
Thanks to a user on Tumblr, we have a new batch of images from the Spider-Man: Homecoming Junior novel. They aren't massively revealing, but do provide us with a new look at Peter Parker, Ned Leeds, and the wall-crawler in his homemade costume (which bears a striking resemblance to the one worn by Ben Reilly, a.k.a. the Scarlet Spider). However, they also reveal some other interesting details.
For starters, Angourie Rice is reportedly playing Betty Brant. In the comic books, she's one of Peter's first loves and he meets her while she's working as J. Jonah Jameson's secretary at The Daily Bugle.
They don't provide many other details but mention that Flash Thompson is "not really a bully." Who knows what that means, but considering the fact Tony Revolori isn't remotely intimidating, it makes sense that Peter won't be bothered by him in any way.
